We all Need LOVE!

I once read, that if you give a child something to love, you will change their life. According to Charlotte Mason's philosophy, "giving a child something to love" means providing them with rich experiences, particularly through quality literature, nature study, art, and music, that spark their curiosity and cultivate a genuine love for learning, essentially nurturing their minds and hearts through exposure to beautiful ideas and experiences.
I've witnessed this in my own daughter especially, when I gave her a fish! She was so thrilled when we picked it out. She immediately loved it! It gave her responsibility, and purpose. We talked and prepared for weeks before getting her fish, and of how important it was for her to be the one to care for and tend to the fish's needs. I immediately noticed something in her changed.
After being a successful provider for "Bubbles", I gave her a hamster! Ever since I have reflected on how true this statement was! Give a child something to LOVE, and change their live.
Like Charlotte Mason, we all should cultivate this idea of rich experiences in our lives. We have to teach, model and demonstrate love to our children. This month, let's focus on what true love is! It's sacrifice, it's time, it's responsibility, it's caring, it's patient, it's kind, it puts other's first, and most importantly remember the bible says, that God is Love!
When we give children God's Love, we change their lives! :)Tracy Kirby

Encouragement from Tracy Kirby
We are like snowflakes in that each one of us is uniquely formed, showcasing our individual qualities and characteristics. Just as snowflakes develop under specific conditions, we grow and learn in environments that shape our personalities, interests, and abilities. No two people are alike; each possesses their own talents, perspectives, and dreams, making them special in their own right. Additionally, like snowflakes, we bring beauty and wonder into the world. Children remind us to stop and be a kid every now and then!
Embracing our uniqueness encourages us to express ourselves freely, fostering a sense of confidence and belonging. We are God's Masterpiece!
Ultimately, just as every snowflake is a masterpiece of nature, everyone of us is a precious gift, deserving of love, care, and appreciation.

This month we will be focusing our attention on our own unique snowflake qualities, and setting goals for the new year. It's going to be a great year! I'm confident of it!

Happy New Year!
